Turning Needs into Realities
The Rehabilitation Center, developed in consultation with Boston's Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, assures each patient superior care and convenience. The Rehabilitation Center's focus is on the whole person with the goal of returning that person to the best quality of life possible. The treatment team includes rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, recreational therapists, neuropsychologists, social workers and discharge planners.
Rehabilitative care begins with appropriate therapies that lead the patient to the greatest degree of function possible, including a transitional apartment where patients once again enter the world of independent living. Kent works with their Care New England partners to provide an uninterrupted treatment path from inpatient rehabilitation, to home care, outpatient rehabilitation and wellness services.
